Art Specs

When submitting graphic files for print. Please use the following specifications.

Software files accepted:

• Adobe Photoshop (CS2)
• Adobe Illustrator (CS2)
• Adobe InDesign (CS2)
• Adobe Acrobat Professional
• Microsoft Publisher
• Microsoft Word (Please call)
• Quark Xpress and Adobe Pagemaker files need to be converted to PDF X-1a:2001, as the raw files will not be accepted due to possible cross platform problems.

File formats accepted:

• .ai
• .psd
• .tif
• .jpg (web use only) Not accepted for print
• .gif (web use only) Not accepted for print
• .eps
• .pub
• .pdf (To insure the best reproduction from a pdf, please use PDF X-1a:2001 at 300-350dpi

All files for print needs to be set at CMYK at 350dpi. If you have full bleed artwork, add 1/8" all the way around.

Any artwork that is received and is not compliant to our specs, an $85/hr charge will be added to your order.

We have templates for all types of printed material. Please email us for a template for your project. Note: Not all templates are the same as different print companies have their own specs. Our templates are set up for our equipment. Please notate for Windows or Mac platforms and in an Illustrator, Photoshop or PDF format.
